Born and raised in the tiny yet exotic island of Dominica (not to be confused with the republic), I grew up in a family with 6 children. Needless to say, we were never bored at home! I was a diverse athlete but excelled in soccer and most importantly swimming. I was a national swimmer for my country; where I took places in O.E.C.S, Carifta and the Pan-American games over my years of competition. I moved to Miami in July of 2003 to start a new life with my family. We moved to South Florida to create a variety of educational paths and careers that an island could not offer.
I graduated high school in 2005 and unfortunately my athletic career ended there. Furthermore, I went onto college but was not sure where my future career was headed. I saw myself as a “people’s person” and therefore went into the hospitality industry. Of course, working around great food didn’t help, and I went from 180lb all the way to 210lb. At that point I saw myself in the mirror and decided that I had to change my life around. I began going to the gym with my friends with one goal in mind. I can say to this day that because of that very goal; which was also a bet, I am the person that I am today. So, WHO COULD GET A SIX PACK FIRST!?
My motivation was not to induce muscle hypertrophy every day, but rather to get lean and have a visible core. That is exactly what I did and obviously I won the bet! Yes, I’ve moved on and now I have added even more goals. After such an accomplishment obtained, it was crazy how many people desired the knowledge to make such a transformation. Thus, my current career as a trainer was generated. Why not get paid to share great knowledge? I am presently studying to become a Physical Therapy Assistant, which helps with training and rehabilitating injuries. Advancing my training style and techniques will always be my passion.
As a trainer I learn new objectives every day and I know that knowledge truly is power. I also question the fact that most people finally get into fitness only once they have reached their lowest potential. But why do we save the best for last or shall I say never at all!? So my job as a fitness trainer is to expand the knowledge of core training. By showing its importance to as many people as I can with their specific goals in mind, you will result in a greater value which you can achieve sooner than later!

Hi, I have a question regarding the resistance bands that are available to be purchased on your website. What does the $60 include when ordering the resistance bands? Does that come with ankle attachments, Hand attachments etc? Please inform me before I am able to understand and make my purchase. Thank you so much.
Sincerely, Lisa
